2. Visiting the website and server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and operating system.
This data is needed to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website). The data is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short time.
A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
3. Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. No fonts, maps or other content are loaded from third parties.
4. Contact form
If you write to us using the contact form, we process the data you enter (name, email address, optionally company and phone number, subject and message) in order to answer your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling enquiries).
5. Booking an appointment for your fibre connection
If you request an installation appointment, we process your name, phone number, optionally your email address, the address of the connection, optionally the order number, your preferred date and your message.
We match this information against the order lists we receive from the network operator or its general contractor, in order to identify your connection and schedule the appointment. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (carrying out the connection you ordered from your provider) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in scheduling).
Where necessary to carry out and invoice the order, we pass appointment and completion data to the network operator or general contractor on whose behalf we work.
6. Job applications
If you apply using the application form, we process your details (name, email address, phone number, position and message) solely to carry out the application process. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
If no employment relationship results, we delete your application data no later than six months after the process ends, unless you have consented to longer storage.
7. Recipients and place of processing
Data sent through the forms is not stored on this website. It is transmitted in encrypted form to our internal order management system and processed there. Only the staff handling your request have access.
We use technical service providers (hosting of the website and of the order management system) as processors under Art. 28 GDPR. Data is passed to other third parties only as described in this policy or where we are legally obliged to do so.
8. Storage period
We keep personal data only for as long as the respective purpose requires. Contact enquiries and appointment requests are deleted no later than 30 days after they have been fully dealt with. Data on completed orders is kept in line with statutory retention obligations (in particular under commercial and tax law).
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
10. Obligation to provide data
Providing your data is voluntary. However, without the details marked as required we cannot process your enquiry, appointment request or application.
