Frequently asked questions
Answers about your fibre connection and your appointment with us.
Who can book an appointment online?+
Households in the towns where we currently carry out subsequent connections. You will find the list on the “Book appointment” page. If your town is not listed, write to us using the contact form.
Do I need to be at home for the appointment?+
Yes. An adult must be on site to give us access and sign the report at the end.
How long does the appointment take?+
It depends on the building and the cable route. We tell you the expected duration when we confirm the appointment.
Will my garden be dug up?+
In most cases no: the cable is brought to the house underground with a soil-displacement tool. Where that is not possible, we open a narrow trench and restore the surface.
Where is the equipment installed?+
The house handover point (HÜP) sits close to the building entry, usually in the basement or utility room. The fibre outlet (GF-TA) goes where it was agreed with you, with the fibre modem right next to it.
What do I need to prepare?+
Please keep access clear to the basement or utility room and to the room for the fibre outlet. A free power socket is needed there for the modem.
What about my router?+
After activation you connect your own router or the one ordered from your provider. Setting up the router is not part of the house connection installation.
Who do I contact about my contract or tariff?+
Your network operator or provider. We carry out the installation; contract, tariff and billing are handled by them.
How can I change or cancel my appointment?+
Write to us as early as possible using the contact form, giving your address and the agreed appointment.
How do I recognise your technicians?+
Our technicians carry an ID and show it on request.
